Egg Express, White, Egg Cooker, Boils Up To 7 Eggs, Soft, Medium Or Hard, Dual Switch For Boiling & Keep Warm Setting, Timer To Indicate End Of Cooking Cycle, Removable Egg Holder Facilitates Cooling Under Cold Tap Water, Dual Purpose Lid As Drip Tray And/Or Serving Tray, Water Level Indicator, Egg Piercer, Lid & Holder Are Dishwasher Safe, 2 Poaching Trays Included. This cooker boils up to seven eggs at one time or poaches one or two eggs in trays. You can use the calibrated water-level indicator to pour the precise amount of water needed to soft-, medium-, or hard-boil one to seven eggs. The indicator (a tube) has a steel pin in the bottom for piercing eggshells; this will leech out the sulfur so yolks remain yellow during cooking rather than turning green. Assuming the proper amount of water is in the egg holder, the timer will ensure the eggs are cooked to the desired level, and then indicates with a light and bell when the hard-boiling is completed. You can then set the timer switch to keep the eggs warm. The plastic egg holder is removable, letting you cool the eggs under running water. Everything cleans easily, including the nonstick coating on top of the boiling plate. The cooker measures 9-1/8 inches wide and 5-1/4 inches high. --Fred Brack

Wish it held 12 eggs. Had an old Oster, this one is not as good, but still works great.

I received an egg cooker as a wedding present years ago. When it finally ended its useful life, I tried replacing it. The replacement lasted a few months, then broke. The Krups egg cooker is superior to my old cooker in evenness of cooking, time and accuracy (it comes with a nifty measuring tube.) It cleans up like a dream. I just hope it lasts 34 years!

I have had this product for about a year and a half. It is safe to say I have used it a hundred or more times. We eat a LOT of eggs! I only use it to make "hard boiled" eggs. Contrary to one of the reviews, it does not "beep." It HONKS. Seriously. A most annoying, LOUD, gross sound that goes on and on until you turn it off. Maybe the older model did the beep. My eggs are from a friend's chickens, so they vary in size. I try to be consistent with size when I load my cooker. Generally, once the cooker goes off, I set a timer for five more minutes, turn it on warm, and eggs are perfect. The other day (for the very first time) I turned it on warm, didn't hear my timer, was distracted in my studio, and didn't notice the eggs on the counter until an hour later. When they were cool I made my husband bite into one. They were still perfect. I love this egg cooker. I don't love the egg piercer so much. Probably it is just getting dull. My eggs tend to crack while piercing them and I hold my breath every time. So I plan to buy a new piercer and just use the piercer part for water measuring. Even the cracked eggs don't leak while cooking though.

I have been using this for over a month, except for one thing that it does not have a auto switch off when eggs are cooked/boiled, I have no other complaints.
